Jellygate: the latest from the beaches

Sorry Peter, and anyone reading this. I forgot to post this update from Peter about the Beach Series:

"Yes there were a few small jellyfish bobbing around in the shallows at last night Beach Series race but unlike the week before no seems to have been stung (most importantly me!).

All the chatter was about how they were moving away.Things are looking up."

I also heard good reports from Jenny, who won a dinner prize (go Jenny). I did hear anecdotally and not directly that there were a few jellies around though.

The Wednesday boat ramp swimmers gave the all-clear, but... today both Jenny and Joanne got stings on the face and neck.

So Helen, Meegan and I will be sticking to a freshwater swim tomorrow, meeting 07.45 at the Pumphouse, and in the water at 08.00. Helen and I will be in togs, as the water is a pretty nice temperature.

Stay clear of the jellies everyone, and keep us updated. Have a great weekend, whether you're in fresh, salt or chlorinated water!
