Click to listen: Jellyfish article on National Radio this morning.
It doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know. Except the expert's predictions about them being"stuck" in the Hauraki Gulf are a bit depressing. We need a big storm!
Those who swam Whangapararoa on Sunday reported NO jellyfish. This morning at the boat ramp, they seemed to be around near buoys 1 and 5. Although I swam in the clear, calm waters of the lake, where I had no such concerns!
I've registered for Kohi, but don't intend going this week or indeed until I know they've gone.
Updates please from those who swam Rat island /Herne Bay at the weekend, or the Taka Beach Series would be great.
