Tuesday 22nd is the last swim of this season's Beach Series and a small clue that summer and ocean swimming will soon becoming to an end. So we decided not to be gloomy about the cooling temperatures but to have dinner to celebrate.... umm, er, something.
After overwhelming the Indian early in the season, this time we will try Aroy Dee Thai opposite the Bruce Mason Centre. Entrees are around $8 and mains $20 -$25, and it is BYO, so the evening out shouldn't require a small mortgage. Swimmers, partners, hanger ons are all welcome. I'll be in Wellington at the out games, otherwise I would have loved to join the Tuesday gang for dinner. I have been there (Thai Restaurant) ages ago, and its not too bad food wise either.
