I was planning to do a shorter (3.5 ish K) version of the Devonport to Milford effort, as I am keen to do the round the rock swim on Sunday. I don't yet know the full details of the main swim, so my suggestion below is subject to change if new info becomes available!
High tide: 7.30 am
Start: Devonport Windsor Reserve (opposite library)
Depart: 7.45 am (together with those doing the main swim)
Finish: Narrowneck beach
Meet: Drop cars off at Narrowneck car park opposite pedestrian crossing/cafe/sailing lockers
Time: 7.25am
Important 1: we need to be punctual as the Devonport swim club event (from Narrowneck to Cheltenham) starts at 9am. For some reason they are going against the tide and we are likely to cross with them if we leave too late.
Important 2: Can anyone interested in my suggestion please let me know, because if I am solo, I will just drive straight to the start and not bother going to Narrowneck first.

As I have missed Saturday morning swims for what feels like the past year I am keen for any swim at all.
